General Anaesthetics
Facilites are available at Lingard private hospital for extensive dental work which can be carried out under general anaesthetic. For example:

for small children
for patients who would prefer to be asleep for extensive treatment
for disabled patients
wisdom teeth extraction
A consultation is necessary for the dentist to discuss this treatment with you as well as give cost estimates for the hospital and the anaesthetist. An information pack is provided at the consultation.

Care for Kids
It’s amazing what a great smile can do for a child’s confidence. Good dental habits should start early. Small children need regular checkups to prevent dental problems. It is important that children feel comfortable and relaxed with their dentist.

Special visits can be arranged for orientation. The sooner such problems as crowded, missing or crooked teeth are identified, the less difficult and expensive they are to treat and the better the result.

Fluoride treatment can provide a barrier against decay and give added protection for years.

Changing issues affecting your family’s oral health need attention and discussion eg. the negative affects of sports drinks. Our dentists can discuss this with you.

Finance Options
Fees vary depending on the complexity of the treatment. Please feel free to discuss costs beforehand. Quotes can be given for all work.

Fees are charged for consultations.

We require a 50% deposit on acceptance of major works where lab fees are involved (eg. crown and bridge work).

At the end of the visit, patients are given an itemised account which should be settled on the same day.

Payments can be made in cash, cheque and credit card – Bankcard, Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Eftpos are accepted.

HICAPS are available for on-the-spot processing of claims for health fund members.

Interest Free third party finance is available with GE CareCredit.
