Here is a little information about who we are at Preventive Dentistry. We hope that it will help you become acquainted with us before your visit.

We have a dedicated team consisting of 4 Dentists, a Dental Hygienist, 2 Dental Therapists/ Hygienists, 4 Dental Assistants, a Receptionist, and a Practice Manager.

Our caring and knowledgeable dental assistants are always at hand to ensure procedures run smoothly and comfortably, and are highly trained in the latest infection control and sterilisation procedures.

Infection control standards

Your safety is important to us. Our practice undertakes yearly accreditation with results that not only meet but exceed the standards set out by ACT Health.

We autoclave (heat and pressure sterilise) all handpieces and dental instruments before each use, and thoroughly disinfect the dental surgery between each and every patient.

Our commitment to strict infection control also involves using single use disposable materials whenever possible, and the use of barrier wraps over all work surfaces in the dental surgery.
