Owned and operated by locals for the community, Dentists on Enmore is situated in the Inner West of Sydney on vibrant Enmore Road. Close to bus and train services and with free parking readily available, our practise couldn’t be more accessible and convenient.

We also provide dental services to communities in surrounding suburbs. So, if you are in need of a dentist in Newtown, Stanmore, Marrickville, Erskineville or Alexandria, we are not far away. In fact, we have patients travelling from interstate and from overseas seeking our expert and gentle care.

Our Team

Dr Sevda Aslan – General Dentist
Language spoken: English and Turkish

Sevda received her Bachelor of Dentistry with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney. During her studies, she was awarded the Anthony P Martin Prize for Clinical Endodontics and The Dr Scott Prize for Oral Diagnosis and Radiology. Upon graduating, Sevda worked at Westmead Centre for Oral Health, one of the largest and most advanced public dental care facilities in Australia. At Westmead, Sevda had the opportunity to work in the various specialty departments such as Oral Surgery, I.V Sedation, Paediatrics, Oral Medicine and Emergency. She then transitioned to work extensively in private practice around Sydney before finally establishing Dentists on Enmore.

Sevda’s passion for dentistry coupled with her impeccable “chair-side” manner results in loyal, long-term patient relationships. She is valued for her calm, professional, focused and gentle approach to her patients.

Her enthusiasm and pursuit of excellence have also led her to ongoing teaching positions at the University of Sydney Dental Faculty, tutoring in the Simulation and Endodontic clinics.

Dr Sawsan Shiyab – General Dentist
Language spoken: English and Arabic

Sawsan received her Bachelor of Dentistry degree with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney following completion of her undergraduate studies in Medical Science.
Since graduating, Sawsan has worked in notable Sydney private practices before co-founding Dentists on Enmore. Her empathetic style coupled with her attention to patient comfort has afforded Sawsan a loyal patient base.

Sawsan is favoured for her energetic personality and sense of humour which she uses to great effect to relax her more anxious patients. Given her nurturing disposition and clinical expertise, Sawsan continues to tutor students at the University of Sydney Dental Faculty, Endodontics Clinic, a pivotal role she commenced in 2009 and was also invited to tutor in the University’s Restorative Composite Program.
