We perform all aspects of general dentistry and also refer to local specialists for complex treatment. A full range of treatment options are offered.

Ross, John and Liz are HCF health fund preferred, meaning that HCF members pay no gap on preventative dental (examination, radiographs, scale and clean, fluoride). HICAPS facilities are available for direct claims from most health funds.

We are also able to care for patients referred by their medical GP’s through the enhanced primary care scheme, war veterans and workers compensation cases, all with no gap on payments.

Our History

The practice was established in 1951 and has had only three owners. In 1989 Dr Ross Martin bought the practice after moving from Toowoomba with his family. In this time the practice has continued to grow with Ross’s son John joining the practice in 2007 and Dr Elizabeth Fisher in 2009. Ross, John and the staff are dedicated to providing quality dental care for you and your family in a relaxed and caring environment. We provide a comprehensive range of services and also refer to local specialists.

We pride ourselves on only using Australian Laboratories to ensure that our work is of the highest quality and contains no low-grade materials. We have had digital radiography and intraoral cameras in the practice for over 10 years and recently installed new dental chairs. Our equipment and materials are always of the highest quality to ensure we can provide the best care possible.

We are located on the first floor of the Sullivans Building on the corner of Old Cleveland Road and Cavendish Road, above the Bank of Queensland, only 5km’s from the city centre.

Entry is via the stairs from Old Cleveland Road. Unfortunately there is no lift access to the surgery. However, if you require assistance to negotiate the stairs, with prams or shopping bags please let our staff know and they will be glad to assist you.

On street parking is available in the surrounding streets and shopping centres. Kitchener Street, which is behind the surgery, normally has many parking spots available and is only a short walk away. Coorparoo Junction Bus Station is also just across the road with regular 15-minute bus services to and from the City and Carindale.
