Over the last three decades we’ve been providing cosmetic, general and implant dentistry services to patients all over Perth, we’ve come to learn what’s not working in dental.

Our practice was purposely designed to break down barriers and make you right at home visiting us. You’ll feel it the moment you open the door – a relaxed, casual environment where people can actually connect with one another.

At Claremont Dental you get a personal experience and relaxed atmosphere, with more one-on-one time and treatment individually tailored to you. It’s the little things that make all the difference. Kicking back on a couch together rather than sitting in silence, alone. The relaxing scent of essential oils in our reception and surgeries to calm your nerves. Talking in everyday language without the intimidating jargon. Letting you feel comfortable to open up with us about anything – what hurts, what works, what you’re up to on the weekend. And if you need a little extra help feeling at ease, Dr Dominic is trained in sedation techniques too.

Dr Dominic Etheridge – General Dentist
Dominic has worked exclusively in general practice since graduating from the University of Bristol (UK) in 2004, with all but one year spent right here in beautiful Perth, Western Australia. Through his extensive experience gained treating patients over the decades, Dom has come to enjoy all aspects of dentistry and continues to find it both stimulating and fulfilling. He has a particular interest in family restorative dentistry and adult cosmetic dentistry, with a firm belief that preventative habits should be taught at an early age. Dom now offers IV Conscious Sedation to our patients. Outside of the surgery, Dom and his wife Kate have two young children to keep them busy and enjoy all the wonderful outdoor activities Perth has to offer. Dom loves playing soccer, keeping fit at the gym and playing tennis at his local club in Swanbourne.

Dr Daniel Abbondanza – General Dentist
Dr Daniel Abbondanza graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Western Australia. Since then he has continued his education with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, completing the primary examinations for the fellow of the Royal Academy of Australian Dental Surgeons.

Dan’s cares a lot about aesthetic dentistry, its integration with implant dentistry and how, performed with the right hands, it can change the way people view themselves and experience life. In 2009 he completed a master’s program in implant dentistry through UCLA, finishing top of the class. He maintains an active interest in the dental society in his role as a federal committee member representing Western Australia for the Australian Prosthodontic Society 2009/2014.

Dr Bayan Habibi – General Dentist
Always strive for excellence in all things. The maxim drilled into Dr Bayan Habibi from a young age by first-generation migrants escaping persecution instilled a constant thirst to excel in the pursuit of all things he applied himself to. Bayan completed his Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Western Australia in 2012, receiving awards in special needs dentistry and international recognition in endodontics. With a clinical practise ranging through all fields of dentistry, Bayan takes a special interest in the use of advanced materials and techniques in advanced restorative and surgical dentistry, including implants, wisdom teeth, gum surgery and complex cosmetic work.

Bayan is also a keen student of history and politics. This interest led him back to study a Certificate of International Relations at the University of Western Australia in 2016. Beyond his insatiable compulsion to test himself at work, Bayan also loves soccer, DIY experiments, his family, and his dog Kya!

Dr Eric Wang – General Dentist
Since graduating from the University of Western Australia in 2007, Eric has spent over a decade honing his skills in cosmetic dentist artistry around the world, including further studies with the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and Sydney’s Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, as well as advanced training courses with the Australasian Academy of Dentofacial Aesthetics. Today, Eric is at the forefront of smile transformations.

When he’s not opening up new possibilities for patients, Eric’s open to trying new things himself. He loves keeping fit and getting out and about, from basketball to snowboarding, scuba diving and weight lifting – even tinkering on his beloved car.

Dr Jana Currall – General Dentist
Jana knew she wanted to be a dentist at a very young age. In fact, her fascination with her own lost baby teeth was so strong that not even the tooth fairy could prise them from her.

Fast-forward to 2008 and the passion was stronger than ever. Jana graduated from the University of Queensland with first-class honours while taking out the Professor RR Stevens Restorative Dentistry Award, marking the start of a lifelong dream that took her to Townsville, Darwin, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, before spending 18 months providing special needs dentistry to those with more complex medical histories at Fiona Stanley Hospital here in Perth.

Jana has made a name for treating kids and adults alike, with a particular interest in crowns, bridges and veneers. Patients adore her down-to-earth nature and knack for explaining dentistry in everyday language that hides her advanced knowledge, sharpened through attending regular dental courses and conferences, reading journal articles and bouncing ideas off peers. With her exceptional attention to detail and treatment planning, Jana offers state-of-the-art, evidence-based dental artistry.

If smiles were Jana’s first love, her son Hugo and husband Michael run a close second. Together they love rolling up the sleeves cooking, painting, fishing and camping (if they can find the time!).

All health funds accepted. We are an independent practice.
