We want your Neil Street Dental experience to be a positive one, so we’ve outlined the formalities below to help you know what to expect when you visit us.

We will be in touch before your appointment, via your nominated contact number, to confirm your visit. If you need to reschedule your visit, please let us know at least 48 hours prior so that we may offer your appointment to another patient.

Our administrative team will be on hand to welcome you upon arrival to Neil Street Dental, so please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow them to settle you in. As part of our caring team, your comfort will be their priority so we invite you to make them aware of any particular likes or concerns you have based on past dental experiences. This will help us to ensure your visit is as pleasant as possible.

Payment is required at the time of your treatment by credit card, EFTPOS, cheque or cash. If you have private health insurance, please bring your card so that we can process your Private Health Fund claim at the time of your appointment through HICAPS.

Please be aware that, for their own safety, anyone who accompanies you to the practice should remain in our reception area during your appointment, and children must be supervised by an adult.

Each member of staff undergoes full introductory training when they commence their employment with Neil Street Dental, allowing us to provide consistency in our service. We strive to attract and retain team members who best reflect our high standards of professional care.

Safety
At Neil Street Dental, we strive to exceed the minimum health and safety standards required by all dental practices in relation to processes such as “infection control”.

In May 2010 we were awarded a very high pass rate in a rigorous audit of Workplace Health and Safety. Compliments from the auditing team still have us glowing!

We are working toward being able to claim the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, handling of instruments and disposal of waste materials to ensure the safety of all staff and visitors to our practice.

Equipment
Neil Street Dental was designed and built specifically to fulfill the needs of an ultra-modern dental practice in 2000. Community Awareness
In the spirit of friendship and out of gratitude toward the community that sustains our business, Neil Street Dental support a local charity by donating all profits from the sale of one of our dentist-only products. Chosen by Dr. Kerry Milne because of their invaluable service to our community, the Toowoomba Hospice receives a substantial yearly donation.

As well as supporting other community initiatives from time to time, the Neil Street Dental team can often be found at the local Empire Theatre. We believe that such a beautiful old building deserves our patronage; not to mention encouraging the efforts of local productions.

We take extra care to ensure that your visit to Neil Street Dental is as comfortable as possible. We understand the difference that the little things make, so you’ll find a range of the latest magazines to read in our reception area and television monitors in our treatment rooms to give you something else to focus on while you’re in the dental chair. We’ve also sourced the best soothing cream for protection of your lips during treatment (Ella Bache’s Crème Intex).

Our qualified team offers a comprehensive range of up to date dental treatments and services. Each Dentist is experienced in a wide range of dental options and, when necessary, will confer with their colleagues to ensure that the best treatment is made available to you by our practice.
