Gold Coast Dental Services has been located in Pacific Fair Shopping Centre at Broadbeach since the Centre was built in 1979.
Dr Robert Henry began Gold Coast Dental Services in six locations throughout the city, with a seventh surgery located at Beenleigh. The Pacific Fair Dental Surgery at Broadbeach being the flagship of the business and the remaining surgery now that Dr Henry has retired.
Gold Coast Dental Services currently hosts three dentists: Dr Ross Jones, Dr David Ng and Dr Jadwiga Syrek. Our dentists’ knowledge and expertise in the industry totals around 100 years worth of experience. We have been tending to the dental needs of generations of families. We provide services such as general and cosmetic dentistry. This includes items from crowns and bridges, to products such as teeth whitening kits and mouthguards, right through to your regular clean and checkup.
We also provide payment options such as Hicaps, Medicare (EPC) and Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). We are MBF, HCF, and Medibank Private preferred health fund providers.

Consultation
Discuss with your dentist any oral concerns you may have.

Teeth Cleaning
Removal of any built up plaque, followed by a polish and fluoride application.

Extractions
Tooth removal, including Wisdom teeth. Nitrous Oxide, or Happy Gas, is available for the nervous patient.

Amalgam Fillings
Known colloquially as “silver” fillings. If you are concerned about mercury or colour, we are happy to remove these and replace with a composite resin filling.

Composite Resin Fillings
Known as “white” fillings. We are able to match a colour to your other teeth making the filling invisible.

Crowns
A porcelain or gold tooth-shaped shell to go over your existing partial tooth.

Bridges
A series of porcelain or gold tooth-shaped crowns which are joined together to cross a gap between teeth, sometimes as an alternative to a partial denture.

Veneers
A thin layer of porcelain that is fixed to the front of your tooth, with minimal disruption to the existing tooth. Usually used to improve damaged appearance or tooth colour.

Root Canal
Sometimes a tooth can be saved from permanent extraction by removal of the nerve pulp.

Take-home Whitening
A mould is taken of your teeth so that a personalised tray can be made. Once the tray is prepared whitening gels can be conveniently applied at home.

In-surgery Whitening – Zoom
An appointment with the dentist for at least 1 hour, giving instant results.
