About Us

Dr Ken Martin
Our Principal Dentist, Dr Ken Martin took over an existing practice in Graceville when he and his wife Ruth and their young family moved back to Brisbane from Gympie in 1989. Since then both his family and the practice have grown (though the family has stopped growing at 5 children and 1 daughter-in-law so far!). The practice growth necessitated our shift in location to a larger building in 2000 to 187 Long Street East, Graceville.
Ken is a General Dentist who has a special interest in Orthodontics, Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry. He has recently completed training with Invisalign. Outside of Dentistry he managed to find time to build his families straw bale home. But now Ken cycles regularly to try to stay healthy.

Dr Debbie Bell
Debbie Bell came to Australia from the UK in 2000 with her husband Mark and their two small girls for a 2 year contract. They liked it here in Oz so much that they decided to stay and have now become proud Citizens! Debbie had her own practice in the UK but when children came along she decided to sell and is now more than happy to be Ken Martin’s Associate Dentist. She likes the wide range of dentistry found in general practice and regards her patients as her friends. She particularly likes cosmetic dentistry and enjoys turning nervous patients into happy confident ones!
Debbie lives locally in a Queenslander that she and her husband restored in 2004. In her spare time (not a lot) she enjoys gardening, craft and sampling all the wonderful restaurants that Brisbane has on offer! Her girls are growing up fast with one in senior school and the other at junior school. She loves working with the happy, enthusiastic team at Graceville Dental Practice and is planning on staying for the long term!

The nearest train station is the Graceville station which is about a 10 minute walk.
