Welcome to Happy Smile Dental! Our modern, caring and friendly clinic were established in 2005. Located in the heart of Knox, we are based in Scoresby and provide general, cosmetic and implant dentistry services to nearby suburbs including Wantirna South, Wantirna, Knoxfield, Rowville, Ferntree Gully, Wheelers Hill, Glen Waverley, Lysterfield, Boronia and Bayswater.

Dr Krishanti Mahadevan – General Dentist
Dr Krishanti graduated from the University of Melbourne. To continue learning, she completed a programme with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

All ages are welcome to see Dr Krishanti at Happy Smile Dental. She provides judgment-free dental care to the best of her ability. To indulge her love of learning, she continues to take regular educational courses. She has her patients’ welfare in mind at all time. When you see her, you’ll be fully educated on the techniques and procedures we recommend to you complete with models, surgeries and understandable explanations.

In her spare time, Dr Krishanti enjoys spending time with her family. She likes to read, learn and be creative. Her passions are animals, nature and children. Once a year, she enjoys visiting India once a year to practice yoga and meditation, to get away from it all and mentally recharge.

Dr Aditi Gadre – General Dentist
To prepare for her career as a dentist, Dr Aditi earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She graduated from the University of Mumbai in 2005. She also possesses the Australian Dental Council Certification. To stay abreast of the latest in the field, Dr Aditi has taken the following professional development courses:

Currently, Dr Aditi has completed a Surgical Implant CPD course at Melbourne University.

Dr Aditi finds it fulfilling to bring a smile to all of her patients, and see her younger patients learning to care for their teeth. She wants them to have a happy and healthy smile for life. Dr Aditi also likes helping her adult patients maintain their teeth. She will suggest treatment options to help them improve their overall dental health.

It’s no surprise that many people feel nervous about seeing the dentist. Dr Aditi takes a gentle and friendly approach towards her patients in our relaxed environment at Happy Smile Dental. It’s rewarding for her to see anxious patients transform into happy and confident patients.

Dr Ankur Kothari – General Dentist
Ankur was inspired to become a dentist because he liked to help put patients at ease. He also likes to perform treatment quickly and comfortably to help them achieve their goals. Ankur appreciates that dentistry is a challenging profession that requires a broad range of skills and this makes every day interesting for him.

To prepare for his career in dentistry, Ankur earned a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne. He graduated in 2013. He is continually updating his skills and has extra training in the repair of broken and worn teeth.

For Ankur, the most fulfilling thing about being a dentist is being able to make a real difference in people’s lives. In particular, he likes helping them become healthier and improving their smiles.

When he’s not at Happy Smile Dental, Ankur enjoys tinkering with ways to make computers work better. He’s been doing computer programming since the age of ten. He also likes to spend time with family, read books and play squash.
